Elkhart schools' Drum 2 Change impacts academic performance, develops life skills

Photos 1-3 were provided by Granby Elementary School in Columbus, Ohio. The ROR instructor at the school is Leslie Ritter. The three photos included with this report show a World Drumming display the class put together as well as how students help each other building and playing the drums

 

Photo 4 shows Chad Askim’s class from Williston Middle School in Williston, North Dakota. Chad has taken several Roots workshops and attended the first Trainer Workshop in Los Angeles in April.

Photos 5 and 6 were taken during the ROR Training workshop that took place on April 25-27 at the Remo RMM Center in North Hollywood, California. The first of these images shows the class with Master Trainer Dr. Craig Woodson. The last image shows the newly certified group of ROR Trainers.

Photos 7 to 9 were taken during the recent ROR Teacher Training workshops in Washington, DC. Roots Of Rhythm is now being integrated into the Washington DC Public & Charter School district.
